The site is finally back up and we have a new platform so we can embed awesome videos like these. The adult class at Capital Gymnastics in Burke, Virginia held their masters meet back in October. They had an open format with no formal rules, used it as a fundraiser for the Special Olympics and had a huge turnout! Gymnastike has in-depth coverage of the meet, the likes of which has probably never been done before. I you haven’t checked it out yet, please do here. There are so many interviews we want to cover from this meet but let’s start with a few of our favorite routines.
Jarel from Gymkana showing all the girls out there how to perform a beam routine. Level coaches please show this, as an instructional video before the compulsory season starts.
Make sure you turn the volume up for this one. We have all been there Jarel. Level coaches, do not show this one to your team.
Check out this marvelous example of using a lovely, clean compulsory routine rather than making up an optional one. Seriously, we couldn’t do the Class IV/Level 4 (?) routine this well when we were kids!
