I love to hear about recoveries that don’t require surgery. Of course, surgery is necessary at times but if the same result can be achieved without it? I say go for it.  I torn the labrum in my hip and was able to get all of my gymnastics skills back with the help of a forward thinking physical therapist (who used mostly  joint manipulation). Thankfully, I was able to avoid surgery.

65 -year-old Donna Tompkins, a senior gymnast, was able to return to her range of activities, to treat her late onset scoliosis. Photos on the site show the improvement in her spinal curvature.  Read the story HERE.
