Masters Gymnastics

The adult class at Capital in Virginia planned, hosted and held a masters meet on October 1st 2011. As often happens in the masters community, with our DIY, never-say-die attitude,  the gymnasts plan and execute the events. These two could totally do gymnastics! Ellen is 54 and Michelle is 48. I have to point out that while Michelle has better endurance, Ellen is clearly stronger. She has better form in addition to executing each push-up at almost horizontal. And we all know that good form = better strength.

Laura-Ann was the alternate for the 2004 Canadian Olympic team. She became an All-American at Oregon State and after a year and a half break from gymnastics, decided to train elite.
